Our approach
Clinical principles, applied to follow-up.
Nout organises follow-up around recognised smoking-cessation practice. Professionals keep making all clinical decisions.
What Nout does, and does not do
Nout supports existing professional practice. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatments or make clinical decisions. It has no clinical approval or certification, and we have not demonstrated effectiveness.
The 5 As
A familiar framework, supported by organised information.
The 5 As are a framework widely used in clinical practice. Nout aims to make the information work behind each step easier.
1. Ask
Organised record of the patient's consumption and history.
2. Advise
Summaries that help the professional prepare their advice.
3. Assess
Questionnaires and the evolution of records in one place.
4. Assist
Personal goals and professional notes linked to the patient.
5. Arrange follow-up
Calendar, follow-up dates and reminders.
